Union downed Army 4-2 on the road Saturday, as Connor Smith led the way with two goals.
Will Felicio’s goal stood up as the game-winner. Goals came from Connor Smith (2), Tyler Dunbar and Will Felicio. Tommy Cronin and Riley Brueck each chipped in two assists. Union scored one power-play goal. Army held a 36-27 edge in shots.
Brayden Gillespie made 34 saves on 36 shots to earn the win. At the other end, Jj Cataldo stopped 25 of 28 for Army.
For Army, Brent Keefer (a goal and an assist), Rhys Wallin (a goal) and Lukas Mccloskey (an assist) did the damage on the scoresheet.
It was a memorable night for a few individuals: August Falloon picked up his first assist for Union. Tommy Cronin picked up his first assist for Union.
